in 2021 i became aware of a special cryptocurrency project called klever. main product is a mobile wallet available for apple (iOS) and google (android) smartphones. but you will see, it’s far more than a simple cryptocurrency wallet. i don’t want to list all functions here, but at least some of the most important ones.
not only the beautiful user interface is outstanding. what makes the wallet special is the integration of different blockchains with the possibility of easily exchanging cryptocurrency a for b via the swap function. in addition, passive income can be achieved by staking cryptocurrencies in the klever wallet.
the keys for the various cryptocurrency accounts inside klever are owned solely by the user (self custodial) and are generated out of the users klever wallet seed. so only one secret for these accounts has to be kept secure through the user.
this seed is generated on the first use of the wallet and must never be shared to anyone. it’s your backup for restoring your klever wallet if your phone gets lost. you are the bank and responsible for protecting the vault key (seed). no trusted person will ever ask you about it, so all your alarm bells should be ringing if someone does.
transaction fees for swaps are paid in the form of klever tokens. so far, these have mainly been provided as tokens of the tron blockchain, so that a few tron tokens also had to be available for fees.
the launch of klever’s own blockchain is planned for march 31, 2022. after the go live, the klever trc20 tokens can be migrated from the tron blockchain to the klever blockchain. after that, no more tron will be needed for transaction fees.
